ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF DEAN, FACULTY OF LAW

The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology (FUUAST) invites applications from highly qualified and experienced academics for the position of:

 

DEAN, FACULTY OF LAW

 This is a Contract basis appointment for a term of 6 Months, extendable based on performance.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

 Ph.D. in Law (LL.D/Ph.D.) from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience/ 5 years at Professor level (BS-20 or above).
  • Proven leadership, administrative experience, and strong research record in HEC-recognized journals.
  • Must not be over 65 years of age as of the closing date.
  • Must be of high moral character and professional integrity.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide academic and administrative leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with HEC and Pakistan Bar Council standards.
  • Promote research, curriculum development, and faculty welfare.
  • Maintain discipline, decorum, and adherence to university rules.

 

SELECTION PROCESS:

 Applications will be reviewed by a High-Powered Selection Committee.

  • Shortlisted candidates will present a vision statement and appear for interview.
